PRODUCTInversa Systems Ltd's proprietary Backscatter Computed Tomography (BCT) product offers clients industrial inspection & imaging solutions for their critical infrastructure. The Inversa product consists of a scanner, much like a Computed Tomography (CT) scanner, but is placed on one side of the inspected object. This scanner will gather raw data during its scan, which needs to be reconstructed into an unambiguous image of the internal composition of the inspection object. This data is telemetered back to Inversa Systems' servers to be processed, after which it will be available for the client to view via a secure and convenient web portal. While ease of interpretation aids decision-makers, image reconstruction is technically challenging and computationally intensive. To facilitate this process while maintaining an affordable product, Inversa Systems Ltd will host the image reconstruction software on its own servers. Specific applications of Inversa's BCT-based products include imaging pipelines, pressure vessels, refractories for boilers and kilnes, bridge decks, culverts.
